Sea Power at O2 Academy Leicester
My second night with Sea Power. Tonight, just a short trip down to Leicester for a more subdued Sunday evening audience.
From a COVID perspective, the O2 venue, what I assume was the old Leicester University Students’ Union, felt much safer. The smaller audience and big open doors straight into the venue meant it felt much safer than the previous night
Pale Blue Eyes again warmed up the audience
Tonight’s set had a few minor tweaks. New song Doppelgänger was switched out for Green Goddess. North Hanging Rock was dropped and Fire Escapes was swapped in for We Only Want To Make You Happy. I think last night’s set worked better. But it was good to hear more new songs.
