Bohicas and Saint Agnes

My only gig this week was Saint Agnes with the Bohicas at the tiny Social (which is awful for photography as it’s too dark).

Both bands have impressed in the past. But Saint Agnes were easily the better band tonight. In fact, I’d go so far as to say the Bohicas were mainly rubbish. They’ve got a small core of high intensity songs that that they play really well. But tonight, with a longer set. Their other material wasn’t very good. The contrast between these new songs and the old tracks was astonishing. They were just so bland. On tonight’s evidence, I don’t think I’ll be buying their album. Really disappointing.
