Half Waif at Surya

Following on from Menace Beach, I headed up for a random at Surya with Half Waif, and I was really glad I did. They played some really interesting music. I use the term interesting on purpose, because I didn’t like everything they did. But what I didn’t like was always interesting and definitely not bland. I prefer for it to be my problem that I didn’t like music than simply because it has no ideas. It also usually means that there is a good chance I will like some of their output and most of their music was really enjoyable.
