Strong Island Recordings at the Shacklewell

Managed to catch a few bands at the free Strong Islands Recordings all-dayer at the Shacklewell Arms. I’d gone along mainly to catch the Xaviers who I’ve been trying to catch for a while. However, things ran late so I only heard one song before I had to rush to get my train. Maybe next time? Highlight for me was Dressmakers who abandoned the stage and played on the floor of the Shacklewell. This worked well because it put them amongst the small crowd and generated a bit of atmosphere.
