Finally catching up with myself, only a month late. But May was another busy month with the Great Escape and a whole host of great gigs.

Best Gig

The Great Escape was a fun few days but there weren’t any real outstanding performances. The performance of the month was from Yak. They have the potential to be a really big band but these are the gigs when they will be at their peak. Feeding off the energy of their audience.

Best new band

Dream Wife impressed this month. But Black Mountain’s warm sound actually left me with a beaming smile.
