Band Of Holy Joy at the Water Rats

My first experience of Band of Holy Joy was about a decade ago at Rockaway Beach. Johny’s performance was mesmerising. I have followed them ever since. While I have dipped into their back catalogue, I’m most familiar with the music in their current set lists. Tonight’s gig took the current lineup back in time to 1983 and to a slightly different, more electronic sound, as they played ‘More Favourite Fairytales’.
