Sea Power at Birmingham Town Hall

I think it’s obvious from how often they feature, Sea Power are one of our favourite bands. Tonight, a visit to Birmingham to see Sea Power play ‘Do You Like Rock Music’ in its entirety at the fantastic Birmingham Town Hall. To be honest, it’s a bit of an uneven album from a live point of view. It’s front-loaded with crowd favourites and kind of fizzles out with ‘No Need To Cry’ and ‘Open the Door’. A long encore of favourites, was the perfect way to pick up the set and finish on a high. Highlight for me with Atom. A song that hasn’t featured has often in recent sets as it should.

Support was from the fantastic Callum Easter.
