On a clash filled evening, it had to be FEWS who I haven’t seen since 2019, touring for their recently released album, Glass City. With the departure of David Alexander, FEWS seem to have eased back on the Krautrock sound with a sideways shift to post-punk. Tonight’s gig mixed these various styles. The machine gun krautrock still suit them best. Offering them the freedom to take the songs beyond the recorded version. That isn’t to say their new stuff wasn’t good. But the energy levels went stratospheric when they played their older material.

Support was from Druzok who kept my interested.
