Tanita Tikaram

I don’t really buy many LPs any more. I don’t have the room, so tend to limit my purchases to albums that come as part of an in-store performance. That sadly means, I rarely get to David’s Music (bookshop & cafe) in Letchworth. Which is a pity. It’s a great record shop. So I try and support their in-stores whenever I can. Their cafe has recently been refurbished and they have taken the opportunity to create a little performance space in the corner. Christening the ‘new venue’ was Tanita Tikaram, who performed as part of her album release tour. She was a perfect way to open this great new space and it was a pleasure to catch her performance. Hopefully, they will grow the use of this great new space.
