If they were grumpy, their grungy sound probably benefited from it. If they were tired, they were awake enough to try a song they’d only played once before. The singers vocals are rasping and snarly and a times very Pixies like and that’s not a criticism in my book. I’d heard a Desire and Touch before the gig and these were the highlight.
