There’s a wash of similar sounding bands on the scene at the moment where you could swap singers around and you wouldn’t really notice the difference. That’s not something you can say about John J Presley with his distinctive gritty, dirty blues voice. When combined with an equally gritty guitar sound, there’s nothing really like him around at the moment. Tonight was another great, though short performance.
