For the last decade, Robert has been forming these singing partnerships that allow him to make best use of his voice. His partnership with Suzi over the last few years, is for me, his best yet. Her folk-blues vocals, return Robert back to his origins and are a better match than the country-fused partnerships with Alison Krauss, and Patty Griffin. Today’s relatively intimate gig was the perfect showcase of their new album.
