Lift To Experience

Josh T Pearson’s one of my favourite artists. I stumbled upon him at SXSW in 2011. Since then, I’ve tried to catch most of his London shows. Before he was ‘Josh T Pearson’, we was the front-man for Lift To Experience. The band made one concept album and then disbanded. Tonight, they reformed for a one-off performance at the Royal Festival Hall as part of the Meltdown Festival. Like his solo shows. Josh regularly joked with the audience. But unlike his solo shows, this not an evening of quiet soul searching. This was full-on ‘massive Marshall stack’ rock and god it was good.
